Home / Are students who use ED as a study tool ready to take the TOEIC Listening & Reading test?

Students who use ED as a study tool are not specifically prepared to take the TOEIC Listening & Reading (L&R) test, as ED does not include content specific to the TOEIC L&R test.

The TOEIC Official Learning and Preparation Course (OLPC) is designed to introduce individuals to the question types found in the TOEIC L&R test and to provide them with specific skill-building content and practice tests that will prepare them for taking the TOEIC L&R test.

ED is designed to increase general English language skills.  Individuals who use ED to prepare for the TOEIC L&R test may do better on the TOEIC L&R than if they had not used any English learning product, but they are not specifically prepared to take the TOEIC L&R test.
